Josh Holloway will guest star in the seventh episode of Tracker's fourth season, playing a rival rewardist who ends up working alongside Justin Hartley's Colter Shaw. CBS confirmed the casting after Deadline reported it first on November 2.

The episode, titled "That's the Job", is scheduled for Sunday, November 22, according to TVLine, which put the broadcast at 9:30 p.m. ET. Deadline reported that new instalments go out on CBS on Sunday evenings and reach Paramount+ the following day for most subscribers, with the premium tier carrying the show live.

Holloway's character, Luke Kelsol, works the same reward-seeking trade as Colter but with a different set of priorities. Deadline described him as a man whose moral compass always points to himself, someone who does not care who the target is or why they are wanted as long as the money is right.

CBS's official description, quoted by TVLine, says Luke's "reckless methods and questionable morals have put innocent lives at risk". The two men clash when Colter is hired to find the owner of a small inn in South Carolina, and their assignments become entangled.

Holloway played James "Sawyer" Ford across all six seasons of Lost, which ended on ABC in 2010. Since then he has led the HBO Max crime thriller Duster, which TVLine noted was cancelled after one season, and the western Flint, based on a Louis L'Amour novel, which he also produced. His credits also include Colony, a recurring role as Roarke Morris on Yellowstone, Intelligence and Community. Deadline reported that he is represented by United Talent.

Tracker is adapted from Jeffery Deaver's novel The Never Game and made by 20th Television. Hartley executive produces alongside Elwood Reid, Ken Olin and Sharon Lee Watson, with Alex Katsnelson, Travis Donnelly and Ryan O'Nan also credited. Fiona Rene plays Reenie.

Collider reported that the show moved production from Ontario to Los Angeles for the fourth season, and that Jensen Ackles recently returned as Colter's brother Russell Shaw. The season began in the first week of October.
